Missouri Rescues--All Are ADOPTED
After being contacted by an outside source we were asked to help get multiple dogs out of Missouri where if rescue did not intervene they would be inhumanely euthanized. That is where Corgi Rescue came into action. We contacted the breeder and asked how many we could get out and how soon. We were told that we could have 4 now and more in January of '08. I did what I could and found a great group of people willing to foster these dogs. We then contacted our outside source who let us know a mill had 2 more that they would release. In total we found 3 foster homes. Here is the list of girls we were able to get out of Missouri #1.
- Reba Lynn, 9yrs old, red and white female. Adopted
- Blossom Nicole, sister to Reba Lynn, 9 yrs old, red and white female. Adopted
- Opal Mae, 6 yr old, red and white female, daughter to Blossom Nicole. Adopted
- Bella, 8 yr old tri color female, daughter of Blossom Nicole. Adopted
- Holly, 8 yr old red and white female, daughter of Reba Lynn. Adopted
Bella is very shy and will need quite a bit of rehab. We are working on not being afraid of people and starting to trust.
Mill has 2 females ages are approx 6 and 4 yrs old one is named Tricia and the other is Megan. Megan is very shy and is working on getting use to people and has not shown any dog aggression yet. Megan is doing well and getting rid of her fungus but still Heartworm positive. We are still working on using the preventative till Spring before we start the treatment. She is getting better but still needs time before she will be ready to find her forever home. Please keep checking she is a beautiful red and white sweety. Tricia does however have a foster home. Thank you foster parents!!
These mill dogs and their foster families have a long road ahead and any help or support you are willing to lend would be helpful and well appreciated.
Updates will be posted as available. If you would like to donate or become a foster home please e-mail me at SHADEAUXMD1@aol.com.
