ABOUT US

We were founded in 2007 by Meagan Francis.

Meagan and Jeremy Francis began as a team in 2002 to help homeless animals have a second chance at finding a great future. In 2000 we began rescuing German Shorthairs while living in East TX and have not stopped since then. In 2002 we began rescuing our first corgi and since that time we have added Wiemeriners, Labradors and a couple mixed breeds. Meagan began rescue as a child with the help of her parents and has never stopped.

Thank goodness for our new foster homes.  We appreciate everyone as they make up our rescue!!!

Please contact us with questions about any aspect of our rescue. We’re always happy to hear from fellow dog lovers.
ADOPTION POLICIES

When we adopt out one of our dogs we do not just give them to anyone we fully research their new families to make sure both the dog and the family will be happy together.

Here is what we ask of Adopters:

1)  Please read over the resources page so you have as much information on corgis as you can as well as what you are deciding to get yourself into with a rescue corgi.

Please understand that we do out of state adoptions only if the dogs is special needs or the local rescue does not have a corgi to fit you.
If adopting from out of state you have to be prepared for the following-- the cost of the flight unless you plan to drive, the cost of a health certificate, and the cost of a crate to ship the dog in.
After paying all the costs to get the dog to you.  The adoption fee is still another fee you have to cover.

2)  We then need you to fill out our application on line. After you fill out the application we look over you application and will contact you with further information.

3)  Next we will try to do a home visit with your future pet and make sure things are well.  If your pet is out of state we try to cover what needs to keep your pet safe and things that you need to realize and make sure all will be happy and safe.

4)  We then get you and your corgi together!!

Please realize that not everyone will qualify.  We do want this second chance for these corgis to be the perfect and better home then they had before.

5) We do not adopt puppies to only dog homes.

6) We rarely adopt puppies to homes with small children unless the children have been screened extensively and so has the puppy.

We have the right to turn an adopter down at anytime including the final meet up when we place the dog with you.

We also have the right to make a home visit after the dog is placed as well (at a time appropriate for both parties)

If any of the above is found to have been a lie or any of the following policies are not met then your contract is null and void and the dog belong to us, No refunds!!!
