We are committed to rescuing those we have no options and just need a new start. You are welcome to email us for information on rescue groups in your area.
When looking for a breed rescue, we recommend American Kennel Club-affiliated groups who can also steer you to a local or state wide group. If in doubt, contact us by phone or email; we know many rescue groups and are more than willing to help you find one close to you.
If you would like to become a foster home please let us know fosters are the backbone to any rescue. Once you have made your decision please contact us and fill out our foster application.
If you would like to donate to help all of these animals out please do so in our paypal account. If you do so please e-mail us with your name and e-mail so that we can keep you update on the dogs you are helping and what your funds were used for to help out the specific dog and all the dogs in general.
Please keep in mind when you are giving you are giving "from the heart" since we are not a tax deductible organization yet.
I want all corgi owners and potential owners to understand the commitment it takes to keep you corgi the correct weight and that you have to love them to make sure they stay healthy and not FAT. Fat corgis are prone to back problem, diabetes, and last but not least DEATH. We as a rescue have experienced this with our very sweet and loving Carter who came in at a enormous 65lbs and after a couple weeks passed away due to all of that his body could no longer take care of him. **We will miss you and love you Carter boy**
How to keep your corgi healthy:
You should exercise your corgi daily either a walk or a game of catch in the yard but something everyday.
We have found that your corgi should eat no more than a cup of food a day (this is good quality food) unless otherwise specified by the vet. Please refer to our weight chart to help you determine wether your corgi is overweight or not.
You should not feed table food to your corgis without realizing that affects what you are going to feed in an overall days worth of food. There are healthy snacks that can be fed just realize they are snack not a meal so only a couple should be given a day
unless ii is for a temporary
period in which you are closely
monitoring your dogs weight.
Please remember that just
because it seems like a couple
pounds every pound on your pet
is less of a life they will live.
Thank you and please love your
dog just not with food!!!!
